We Ran a Study. Here's What 30 People Experienced in 14 Days.

We wanted proof. Not marketing claims. Not before-and-after photos chosen for impact. Actual, documented, self-reported outcomes from real people who used our products daily for two weeks.
So in August 2025, with the help of scientific advisor Charlotte H., PhD, we ran a 30-participant consumer perception study. Participants used What A Peeling, Forever You, and Feeling Butter, once daily for 14 consecutive days and completed a baseline and end-of-study questionnaire.
Here's what happened at Day 14:
92% reported a more radiant, glowy complexion. Not after a month. Not after three. Two weeks.
90% reported increased confidence going out without makeup. This one stopped us. Skincare that quietly removes a barrier you didn't know you were carrying — that's the point.
88% reported a mood uplift associated with the scent, texture, and ritual of use.
85% reported reduced dryness and flakiness. The kind of relief that changes how your skin feels by mid-morning.
78% reported a perceived increase in daytime energy — what participants described as a kind of "bounce."
We're transparent about what this study is and isn't. It's a self-reported perception study — 30 people, no placebo, no blinding. It's designed to capture real-world experience, not replicate a clinical trial. The results are the first step toward larger, instrumented studies (think Corneometer™ hydration measurements, TEWL tracking) that we're planning as we grow.
But 92% is 92%. And 90% feeling confident enough to leave the house makeup-free? That's not a small thing for someone who has spent years fighting their own skin.
We built Butter Be Kind because the products we needed didn't exist. Now we have evidence — early, honest, and real — that they're working.
